          In the neighboring Municipality of Malanang, Opol, Misamis Oriental, about 20 minutes from Cagayan de Oro City, lies a hidden gem for food lovers and nature enthusiasts alike: The Viewpoint Resort Cafe and Resto. As a food photographer and avid foodie, I was recently commissioned to take photos of their menu and some amenities, and there, I fell in love. My first experience of this resort was just before they opened in May 2023. While the drive going to the resort was smooth, leading towards it’s location when you get to Opol public market was somehow a challenge. The view though as I eased through its wide parking was another story.
